should have a belt and you dont have to change it at any time but its wiser too most cars about 100,000 my car has 300,000 and stil same belt it came with replacing belt cost less than if it breaks and something gets bent in side of motor what i read is

it will be a cam belt on your car mate all mazda diesel 6s r. and they r meant to b replaced at 75k or 6 years.
