Can I convert a timing belt into a timing chain?

My gf is getting a 94 Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo and from what I know about them, the timing belt is a ticking time bomb for the engine. Is it possible to change the belt to a chain?

you cant do it on that car,no kits available that i know of for that one, there's nothing wrong with timing belts as long as you change them when their needed, good luck.

your welcome, and your 100% right if all cars were practical, they wouldn't be any sports cars on the road, thank god for people that had us in mind when they designed cars, good luck.

It is COMPLETELY impossible to change it to a chain from a belt.

If you have heard bad things about a car, it is not always wise to buy the car and ignore the warnings on the car...Cars have certain characteristics that they become %26quot;known%26quot; for - ask anyone in the car industry, they can tell you for example Ford Focus' have a tendency to wear out ignition cylinders or the Chevrolets in the 1990's had bad paint, or Dodge Intrepids are piles of manure...These are examples off the top of my head and all are true instances...so if you have heard something about a certain car and still buy it...it's buyer beware.
Engineers chose the belt drive for a reson.
Nope sorry impossible....
