How can I prevent timing chain failure?

Besides propper oil change habits, how can I prevent timing chain failure and increase the life of it without replacing it in my 1991 Toyo PU 22RE
How can I prevent timing chain failure?

How can I prevent timing chain failure?
no mad man driving. that is the number one killer of automotive belts, high engine speeds put more strees than anything on a belt because of high heat and stresses.and if it starts slipping, whining, its time to replace but i would replace it 1,000 miles before its scheduled to be changed(call it preventive maintenance)
22re? you cant prevint failure.its like a man its limited.but 22re chains rairely go out

tensioners and guides are another story
