chain
Belt, 75000 miles.
timing belt i think
Belt, I don麓t know accurately, but I seems to me it must be after 50,000 miles service or 75,000...
yeah a belt and 75000 is the recomended milage
It has a timing belt and different manufacturers have different service intervals for timing belts. I would check the owners manual or call the dealer.
Yes it does

all engines have a timing mechanism of some sort
What year older has chain

newer has belt.
All hondas have a timing belt

About 60k for the change

DO the timing blet and water pump at the same time.
BELT. . . . .DUH.
they have timing laces (shoe laces)
Get the Helm Inc. Service manual at www.helminc.com

They aren't cheap (~$100) but they will answer every question you have about your Honda or Acura and save you tons of money on do it yourself projects. It will also save you money by being able to talk and listen accurately to shop mechanics. You won't be steered into something stupid anymore!

I don't know of a single Honda that has a timing CHAIN. All come with BELTS. Honda's have interference engines and that belt keeps the pistons and valves from being in the same place at the same time. The timing belt has an estimated life span and then it will break. The interval for changing that belt is in your owner's manual. Breaking the belt generally destroys the engine.
