Can you convert a Ford 4.6 SOHC to a DOHC by swapping the heads or is it even possible?

I have a 96 Ford Mustang GT. I currently have the top end of the motor torn down for a rpeair and while disassemled, I was planning some performance upgrades. I have a line on a set of 4.6 DOHC heads from a 98 cobra and am not sure if they can be swapped over to a SOHC platform with simply changing the timing chain... Any ideas?

make sure all of the oil and coolant gallies and the bolt holes line up

intake and exhaust runners should be the same, but double check anyways

if you have a type of variable valve timing on there you may run into an issue, the dual cam setup may use either a different computer or different actuator

you might also want to double check that the valves will still clear the pistons when they should
