i wanted to know if the engine comes with timing belt or timing chain?

and when does it need to be changed(approximate mileage)

The Saab 4-cylinders, which the 2.0t is, are driven by timing chains. They normally do not need to be changed or serviced until about 200-250k miles. Just change your oil every 5k miles with FULL synthetic and you'll be good to go!
