Vauxhalls tend to use timing belts on the smaller engines in their cars my old cavalier was a 2.0L and had a belt, i reccomend changing the belt, tensioner and rollers at 30,000 max the engine is whats called an interferance engine which means if the bel snaps the valves and pistons hit each other and thats expensive
HI, no all 1.2 16v corsa's are chain driven, there is no service schedule to replace the chain. How old is your corsa? on newer models there has been a recall from vauxhall referance the timing chain whisch needs replacing.
