When you change your timing belt/chain, should you change anything else?

the water pump... if it requires the removal of the timing belt is a good item to replace... check the guides and tensioner if applicable for groves or any other type of wear... look for any visible leaks to determine if any gaskets are leaking on the front side of the engine...
