belt not a chain, if you're gonna do the timing belt do the water pump too as there is alot of labor involved and the only way to reach a water pump is taking off the timing belt so would be a good idea.
If your car is running fine I wouldn't bother, just change your oil every 3,000 miles, oil filter, ail filter, wheels rotated and balanced every 6,000 miles stuff like that
