Can anybody advise whether a SUZUKI GRAND VITARA, 16V, 5 door on an 06 plate, has a timing belt or a chain. And if it's a belt, when does it need changing?

if you had the internet you could look up that engine on advance auto...auto zone or oreilly...you would see if the sell a chain..that means it has a change [never change] or a belt..change at whatever manual sez....60 to 80K most cars
depends what size engine? you say its a 16v that tells me its a twin cam
